Make sure we don’t “have to” be in a rush... Sometimes hurrying and rushing is on autopilot. When we are going through tasks in fast forward we can double check if it is necessary. Why am I rushing? A sense of urgency is important to have but is not meant to be constantly with us.

Balance Urgency and Quality...of Life

A sense of urgency drives results and keeps momentum, especially in high-stakes environments. However, keeping it constantly activated leads to burnout, mistakes, and overlooked details—like missing out on life itself or something we could have otherwise realize we enjoy.

Practice making things less stressful for yourself.

Multitasking drains mental batteries. Try not to multi-task if you don't have to...since it also robs a moment from just being a moment. Switching from impulse to another is taxing enough if you have to do it for work and family, gift yourself the capacity to live in the moment.
